Team Volunteers
OPEN POSITIONS FOR 2025:
SPONSORSHIPS CHAIR
Team Reps: Christina Lorelli (A Meets), Erica Andresen (B meets), and Kelley Newsad (Dive)
This team is responsible for all aspects of running the team. Team Reps serve as a liasion to the NVSL and attend all NVSL meetings and trainings. They serve as the point of contact for meets. They work closely with the entire volunteer team, coaches, and the Pool Board to ensure a great summer of swim and dive.
Data Coordinator: Jessica Carroll
This individual is responsible for coordinating all of the team swim data for the season. During the meet, they enter results into the computer and tally the score. During the week, this person assists the coach in creating the line-up and communicates with the other team’s data coordinator to create a meet sheet.
Officials Coordinator: Ed Byers
This individuals organizes and coordinates all the volunteers who are certified to be officials at the meets. This includes maintaining volunteer status on training requirements and recertification, communicating upcoming clinics, and scheduling meet officials for the season.
Treasurer: Jennifer McVay
The Team Treasurer is esponsible for all financial aspects of the swim team including budget, payroll, recording and processing revenue and expenses, reconciliation of the monthly bank statement. and preparation and presentation of annual financial statements to the Lakeview Board of Directors.
Hospitality Team: Jennifer King, Meg Fregoso, Natalie Zylstra, Annie Wisecarver
This team works with the Head Coach and Team Reps to set the social calendar for the summer. In addition to planning Team Dinners, and End of Season banquet, the hospitality team coordinates fun events to build team community throughout the season.
Fundraising Chair: Courtney McFarlane
This individual organizes and coordinates fun social opportunities that help raise funds for our swim team. Some of these activities include restaurant nights, Herald delivery, and raffle baskets at meets.
Spirit Wear: Jo DeCerbo
This team handles all the design and coordination of spiritwear sales for the summer. This includes working with vendors, setting up the online shopping site, and coordinating the delivery of items.
Volunteer Coordinator: Jen Kucharski
This individual is monitors our swim meet sign ups to make sure that all of the volunteer slots are filled for each A & B Meet.
Meet Announcers: Steve Kucharski and Andrew Nemets (aka DJ Dirty Jerz)
This team is the key to a fun and smooth running home meet! These individuals work along side the referree to keep the meet running on time. They help all the spectators keep track of events and meet progress.
Snack Bar: Kelley Newsad, Erin Fickling, and Elizabeth Alarie
This individual is responsible for managing the concessions at each Home meet. They maintain inventory, plan the purchasing, and coordinate sales with the team Treasurer.
Meet Set Up Coordinator: Tara Fleck
This individual will be in charge of managing the set up team for our Time Trials and Home A & B meets.
Tables: Cindy Byers
This individual works closely with the Data Coordinator at each of the meets to verify times, placing, and scoring. They also maintain the ribbon supply and make sure each swimmer receives their ribbons post-meet.
Chuck a Duck: The Willie Family
The Chuck a Duck fundraiser at our home meets is a great way for our swim team to make extra money. This role maintains our duck supply, sells ducks during the meet, and runs the chucking of the duck!
Winter Swim Coordinator: Gaby Keener
This person organizes the Lakeview Winter Swim Program. This includes securing lanes at an indoor facility, collecting registrations, and communicating season details with families.
Social Media Coordinator: Ashlee Young
This person maintains and updates the Lakeview Swim and Dive media accounts. Utilizing multiple platforms, this person keeps the Lakeview family updated with upcoming events, team successes, personal achievements, and all fun things swim related!
